Eta Phi Alumni Housing Board
The Eta Phi Alumni Housing Board manages the fraternity house at 87 Franklin Blvd. It is governed by a team of Theta Chi alumni who volunteer their time to make sure that the facility provides a safe living environment that supports the educational activities of our undergraduate brothers. Often managed by alumni volunteers, the housing board plays a very important role in the continued existence and well-being of our chapter. The Eta Phi Housing Board meets monthly during the school year and once over the summer, with the Chapter President, Treasurer, and House Manager to coordinate the following functions:
Manages real estate for the chapter and leases the chapter house to the undergraduate chapter.
Responsible for property inspections and maintains the equipment and furnishings.
Anticipates future housing needs and maintains accurate financial information.
Enters into contracts when applicable, and hires and supervises any contracted employees.
Secures adequate levels of insurance and assures that any applicable tax returns are filed properly, and taxes are paid.
