Eta Phi Alumni Corporation
Many fraternity and sorority chapters across the country are owned by local corporations, commonly called an “alumni corporation.” The Eta Phi Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity is the leading men's fraternity at Oakland University. Founded in 1981, the chapter has initiated over 600 brothers. The chapter continues to reside in the original building, at 87 Franklin Boulevard, Pontiac, Michigan. The chapter house and this website are owned by the Eta Phi of Theta Chi Alumni Corporation. The Alumni Corporation is a 501(c)7 run by a Board of Directors consisting of 6 volunteers with corresponding membership across the Housing Board, the Chapter Advisory Board, and the Alumni Association. The mission of the Alumni Corporation is to provide a home and infrastructure that optimizes the fraternity experience for Theta Chi brothers actively attending Oakland University and to continue providing this experience into the future for our alumni network.
We believe a strong alumni presence is one of the keys to a successful fraternity. The Alumni Corporation of the Eta Phi Chapter of Theta Chi meets three times a year including the Annual Meeting. We invite all alumni of Eta Phi Chapter to attend these meetings.
