Eta Phi Alumni Association

You may or may not have heard that the Eta Phi Alumni Association which is the social organization within the Eta Phi Alumni Corporation has been re-established and is diligently working to create an alumni social network, that brings us together either in person or virtually that like the chapter, will stand the test of time.

We have founded the organization on the ideas of bringing together the alumni of the chapter with the goal of providing up to 4 major events each year that help support these causes.

The Eta Phi Alumni Association is within the Eta Phi of Theta Chi Alumni Corporation which is a fully registered entity in the State of Michigan and with the IRS. We are currently starting our path to achieving a 501(c)3 designation for the Delta Alpha Sigma Association, which is led by a separate board of directors, which we hope to have completed as soon as possible in 2024.

Monthly Eta Phi Chapter Alumni Night at the Red OX across from Oakland University.

Alumni vs. Active Softball Game:  Fall Semester TBD

2024 Brew and Fall Fest:  Join us Saturday October 5th, 2024, 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm for the 2024 Brew & Fall Fest at Jimmy John's Field!

Eta Phi Scott Porter Classic Golf Outing: Each year on the first Saturday in October. Inaugural event in 2022. More than 50 Alumni Brothers attended. Cost: $100 for Eta Phi Alumni Association members or $125 for other alumni (included 18 holes, cart, BBQ afterward, prizes). More details on event page. The next event will be Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024.  All proceeds for this event support the active chapter. 

Winter Casino Night: Held on the first Saturday in February, each year.  This year it will be held on Feb. 1, 2025, this event held at the chapter house annually brings many Alum brothers together.  All proceeds for this event support the active chapter. 

Baseball Outing at Jimmy John’s Field (June  2025): Along with baseball on a patio or pavilion, this outing includes an all-you-can-eat picnic service that begins when ballpark gates open and lasts for 1:30 hours. This is a limited ticket event, with paid Eta Phi Alumni Association members receiving discounted ticket prices ($15 for members, $40 for non-members). Includes baseball, buffet, two alcoholic drink tickets, unlimited soft drinks.

On the final Monday of each month, the Eta Phi Alumni Association hosts a business meeting to discuss the latest happening and what’s next for the alumni association socially and our fraternity chapter in general. You’re welcome to join in and share your thoughts as a Eta Phi Brother.
